The series of portraits were taken over the internet via ‘FaceTime’, Whatsapp and Zoom during the first UK Covid lockdown to build a picture of life in isolation during this unprecedented time. The subjects had a myriad of responses some choosing to be serious whilst others went for something surreal, dark or funny.

The calls varied from 5 mins to several hours in length and of course complied with the rules on social distancing!

The project was exhibited on Whiteladies Rd in Bristol and in the window of the Drugstore Gallery in Axbridge, Somerset.
