Are We There Yet? Exhibition at Volklinger Hutte Ironworks in Germany.

Updated: Nov 7, 2019

In 2018 I had an exhibition in Germany visited by over 250,000 people during its 6 month tenure. The exhibition included 30 3m x 2.5m photographic prints from my book 'Are We There Yet? A Day trip to Banksy's Dismaland and Weston-super-Mare', and also photographs taken in and around #Banksy 's #Walledoffhotel and one of Bankys's murals in NYC.

Volklinger has a biennial street art exhibition where graffiti artists from around Europe come and make site specific work. Are We There Yet? ran in the middle alongside an exhibition on Inca Gold, Power and God which took place in the main smelting hall. The Ironworks have been made a Unesco World Heritage site and it has an interactive museum about its history and a science centre.

The next exhibiition is Pharaohs' Gold: 3,000 Years of Ancient Egypt which has been extended until April 2020 and in conjuction with the present street art exhibition would make for a fantastic visit.
